Toddler/Transition class --  a class for 2 year olds who are learning toileting and feeding skills in preparation for the 3 year old class.  Montessori toddler materials will encourage exploration and independence. Offered as full time only from 8:30 to 5:00 and will have a maximum of 5 children.  (1 spot available) $450/mo.

Primary class --  for 3 to 5 year olds who can attend to toileting and feeding independently.  Part time consists of 1,2 or 3 days and $295/mo.  Full time tuition is $450/mo.  Maximum enrollment is 10.  (2 spots still available).  Classtime hours are from 8:15 to 3:00 with before and aftercare provided.

The primary classroom will offer experiences in pre-reading, listening, speaking, pre-writing, literature, guided research, numeration to 1000, basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, money, time, measurement, geography, art, botany, zoology, ecology, physical and earth science, astronomy and the human body as well as practical life skills, cognitive skills and fine and gross motor skills.

The Elementary class is for 6 to 9 year olds.  Hours are 8:15 to 3:00.  Cost is $400/mo.

The lower elementary curriculum consists of  a wide variety of subjects including listening and speaking, reading skills, spelling skills, writing skills, numeration, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, operations, measurements, money, time, word problems, squaring, fractions, decimals, charts and graphs, geometry, zoology, botany, earth science, chemistry, physics, scientific process and principles, history, concept  of time, concept of history, study of history, history of life, physical geography, political geography, globe skills, flags, landforms, functional experiments and charting.  Alabama Course of Study objectives are held as minimum standards. Montessori objectives are set to challenge.

Mobile Bay Montessori has plans to offer classes through 8th grade at full enrollment.
